Shirish Villaseñor & Isabel Garcia
We are local San Diego artists with a passion for creating and redesigning the normal. We share a knack of leaving each place we go better than how we found it. We aspire to fill our community with a little extra love through our mural work, as well as the connections we build along the way.
Our mural journey together began as volunteer artists to restore the historical Civil Rights mural located at Commercial and Imperial in Logan Heights alongside artist and activist, Mario Torero. We quickly learned how well our styles and values aligned and decided to keep painting. Sharing a common passion and unique set of skills, we equally felt the need to push our reach and thinking to take it where it all began for us both: spreading a positive message to reshape the narrative of our community through collaborative efforts and art.
We aspire to collaborate with other local artists, organizations, businesses, and community members to create works of art that not only bring color and life to our surrounding communities, but to inspire change and strength for them as well.
We will happily accept:
Paint, aprons, gloves, brushes, sponges, tape, sealant, tarps, scaffold, spray paint, paint sprayer, power washer, etc
Please contact us if you would like to help us make our city shine!
All generosity toward helping us expand our efforts will be greatly appreciated and expressed through our artwork.
Whether it is spoiling us with a cup of coffee, helping us raise funds for equipment, or just by sharing our story,
YOU are appreciated and loved.
Thank you for stopping by.
